NO TIME LIKE THE PAST © 2006 Ross/Math Lab face down uptown i think she's lost lights blink, she sinks early frost can't say why i need to know gone so long now can't let go she's coming down i'm coming around i'll bring you back no time like the past free will, free ride same old tale no high too high no time to bail jaded memories, faded pride damaged goods on a downward slide she's coming down i'm coming around i'll bring you back no time like the past she couldn't save me but i'll turn it back i know and when she hits the ground i'll be waiting below i've got to find a way to make this one last save cause i still love her from the bottom of my grave face down uptown i think she's lost lights blink, she sinks early frost last chance, stand fast i push her back through she'll join me here but not so soon she's coming down i'm coming around i'll bring you back no time like the past

ORIGINAL HIGH-ENERGY DANCE SONG © 2006 Ross/Math Lab you're alone tonight practicing your indecision take my picture off the wall sweat myself awake a thousand miles away in my mind but i can't bear to make the call should have closed another door but i keep coming back for more i could start again anywhere but i can't bring myself to care out with a whimper, not a roar don't have it in me anymore it's more a white flag than a war i don't have it in me anymore i've seen that car before i know the face and i know his name i know his thoughts are in your head i should slash the tires quit this job and take my life back instead i'm home and playing dead i know your heart is either/or and he's the man i was before i can't feel my body getting cold my nerves are dead but not my soul out with a whimper, not a roar don't have it in me anymore it's more a white flag than a war i don't have it in me anymore

Enough 04:38
ENOUGH © 2006 Ross/Math Lab i'll take the silver, you take gold you take everything that's not nailed down but that's just you you take my future in your hands you can't decide where i should stand i'll stand right here and face the truth when it comes right down to it i know that i've been waiting too long when it comes right down to it i'm almost right where i belong i'll make a dent but not a splash i'll make you dream about the past i won't compare i'll be the one you want around when i'm the only game in town if someone's here, then i'm not there when it comes right down to it i know that i still don't belong when it comes right down to it i know where you stand and for how long when it's down to you i know i am still not strong enough when it's up to me you're not the one but you're not wrong enough our time is limited, i know you won't have to tell me when to go that's okay but don't be surprised to find me gone i'll find my own New #1 role reversal is fair play when it comes right down to it i know that i still don't belong when it comes right down to it i know where you stand and for how long when it's down to you i know i am still not strong enough when it's up to me you're not the one but you're not wrong enough

about

Math Lab was a total departure for me, a chance to do something almost completely different from The Acoustic Ross Thing. Four guys born in 3 different decades, with only a few favorite bands in common, we found a sound somewhere between classic and indie, between pop and hard rock. Jarrod and I split the singing duties, and Michael and Dennis chimed in here and there too. We never got the full-length made, but this EP is a good document of what we sounded like.

Math Lab wrote, arranged & performed the songs.

Dennis recorded & mixed it all at 4112, December 2005 - April 2006.

Ross did the graphics.
